Everything can cost a bit more, after all, all costs are charged on to the buyers and sellers of the yachts for sale on their books. In this business, an average sales commission of 8% (ex-VAT) is quite usual.

Isn’t it possible to reduce the commission? Of course, but only if you find a way to keep your costs low and your efficiency high. Astra Mare Yacht Brokers has found that gap in the market. This strategy enables Astra Mare Yacht Brokers to offer the lowest commissions on the market.

Our fees are divided into two categories:

1. Yachts from € 0.00 up to and including € 150,000.00 = € 2,750.00 
2. Yachts from € 150,001.00 and higher = € 5,500.00

(prices exclusive of 19% VAT)

This means that for an average sale price of € 75,000.00, we charge a commission of only 3.5%. If you were to opt for a traditional yacht broker who charges a commission of 8% (excl. of VAT) for his services, you would have to pay € 7,140.00 Euros ex-VAT. In a case like this, Astra Mare Yacht Brokers would save you more than € 4,340.00!
